I am a local guitar player with nearly 20 years of professional experience as a performer. I completed my BFA in 2002 in from the prestigous Jazz and Contemporary Music Program at New School University. In my time in New York I performed and studied with such jazz luminaries as Jack Wilkins, Junior Mance, Cecil Bridgewater, and Phil Markowitz. Locally, I am currently in Memphis top boogaloo band, Archer recording artist, THE GRIP. I have also worked with some of Memphis finest RnB and blues artist such as Charlie Wood, Will Graves, Billy Gibson, and Mose Vinson. Lessons will have an emphasis on grounding the student in the fundamentals of harmony and theory. Know why some chords sound good together and some don't! Whether your a high school jazz band student trying to make All West, a song writer tired of playing the same old open G chord, or a former player looking to take the instrument up again, I'm your man. I work out of the beautiful, centrally located Studio 708 in East Memphis. 25 for 1/2hour lesson. one month commitment mandantory.
